LUSH Fresh Face Mask Review: The Sacred Truth

Today I am bringing you a Lush Fresh Face Mask review on The Sacred Truth! This is one of my favorite things to write about because the entire process is so fun. I’ve used this mask a total of 4 times now, so for two weeks. This mask is geared towards aging skin. Let me tell you what LUSH has to say about this mask:

The Sacred Truth contains a powerful combination of rich, softening ingredients like linseed, eggs and shea butter to deeply moisturize and nutritious wheat grass, papaya, green tea and ginseng root to restore essential vitamins and brighten skin.”

So while this product is geared towards middle-aged people, it’s also great for the younger audience as well and will work with all skin types. My friend has more combination to oily skin, while I have combination to dry and we both see really great results after using this fresh face mask. Upon opening the container, I find a subtle smell. It definitely isn’t my favorite LUSH smell but I can deal with it for the 15 minutes I leave it on my face! I can’t quite put my finger on the exact scent I get from it but it is tolerable for the results. It has an almost yogurt-like consistency and goes on the face very smoothly. After applying all over (be gentle around the eye area) let it sit for 10-15 minutes.

 You’ll feel the mask getting a bit hard after the allotted time so go ahead and wash it off with some warm water and a cotton round. I already feel the change in my face at this point. I feel so hydrated/moisturized. Two to three days later and my skin still feels refreshed and hydrated. I can see a bit of a glow, which I love. The lasting effect of this mask is amazing. I use it once a week, sometimes twice if my skin is acting up and it really does the job. 

Who do I recommend this product to? Anyone! Especially those with aging skin that need a little revitalization.

On an end note, can we just linger about for a couple more seconds to talk about how adorable LUSH is with their packaging methods? They slap a sticker on each product telling the purchaser who made it! Feels a bit more intimate and like the product was made especially for you. Can they get cuter? Maybe if the prices were a bit easier on my wallet. Just kidding, that would be great an all but I feel the prices are WELL WORTH the results I see.

One more reason I love LUSH: They are fighting animal testing.I love animals, don't all of you? Cuteness overload! Also, LUSH wants to sell their sunscreen/suntan lotion in America but the good ole' USA requires animal testing on all sunblocks/sunscreens in this country. Go LUSH! It says a lot about a company when they stand up for what they believe in instead of trying to make a quick buck.
