Saturday Morning Tea #3!

WHAT. A. WEEK. I cannot even begin to explain the amount of "busy" I have been. Saturday I helped a friend shop for new job attire. I'm going to be writing a piece all about that day in the next couple weeks!  On Sunday Rory and I went to a local farmer's market which was really cute/nice. We picked up a few green peppers and peaches! We also ran to Mazon to look at my brother's truck because he broke it...

Monday I started my new job/promotion. I used to be a caregiver for my company. Basically, I went around and helped elderly people in need. A couple weeks ago the office manager called me and asked me to interview to be the new administrative office assistant so I did and got it! Basically my role in the company: Lots of paperwork for new hires, old hires, everyone, putting together files and charts, pulling applications and doing the interviewing and hiring, teaching a few classes, etc. I've got a lot on my plate and I am totally fine with that. It definitely makes the work day fly by.  Monday and Tuesday I was trained a bit and I was on my own Wednesday and after. It's tons to take in but I think I have caught on pretty quickly, especially with their new Clear Care system that keeps track of everything.

This is why I didn't post Wednesday or Friday this week. I wanted to try to get up posts on Wednesday and Friday but it just didn't happen. I don't want to write things ahead of time and schedule them to post. That's just not how I work best with the blog. I want to feel like I am actually part of it and adding NEW content every M-W-F for you guys to read and enjoy. Hopefully as I start to get more into a routine I will be able to get back to my Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule! Rory is starting his new job too. Before we were having to get to bed by 7 PM to wake up at 3:45 AM. Now we get to stay up a lot later as well as wake up a lot later so it just takes some getting used to again.

Last night, Friday, Rory's parent's came from Michigan to stay the night because we celebrated Rachel's birthday here. They have a TRAIN concert to go to today, I believe. As for Rory and I, I don't think we have any weekend plans which sounds WONDERFUL to me because I am pooped.

Along with the new job this past week, Rory and I tried a few new recipes and fun dinner ideas. I'm posting that tomorrow :)

Tea of choice this morning: Simple, plain, yummy, Green Tea.

I hope you have all had a wonderful week!
